WayBase Redesign

Estimated Launch: Summer 2020

Previously WayBase was split into two pieces, the public search interface, and the Impact Console which was the area members could access to use advanced tools.

We are combining these into one interface that will make WayBase more intuitive and easier to navigate.

The images we have posted below are draft concepts and may not reflect the final design when it is publicly launched. They also include ideas that aren’t set in stone in the left-hand-side navigation pane.

We are continually seeking feedback as to how to make WayBase easier to use and more effective at helping individuals and ministries find each other, partner together, and show their collective impact.

If you have suggestions, comments, or feedback, contact us here.

Cause Listings

Estimated Launch: Fall 2020

Causes are a way for Christians to collectively solve issues in their city.

We are currently processing two types of Causes:

1. City or Global Cause (posted and promoted by WayBase)

    • Multiple collaborators
    • Large goals
    • Vetted
    • High impact focus
    • Promotion by WayBase: “Check out this City-wide Cause”
    • Example: a low-income housing project in a downtown area

2. Local Cause (posted by an organization)

      • Single organization (may or may not have collaborators)
      • Small or medium sized goals
      • Posted to organizations followers on the mobile app (future)
      • Able to search and find on WayBase
      • Promotion by WayBase: “Check out Local Causes in your community”
      • Example: winter jacked drive by a local shelter

We have plans to build reporting tools that will track the impact that is made. This will enable us to create reports that can be presented to civic leaders, congregations, and business networks revealing the significant difference we make in our regions.

The images we have posted below are draft concepts and may not reflect the final design when it is publicly launched. They also include ideas that aren’t set in stone in the left-hand-side navigation pane.
